On August 17th, there will be a new, full service bike shop in town called Salvagetti.
Directly across from Commons Park on Platte Street, Salvagetti will move into Confluence Kayak’s old joint. Not to worry, Confluence Kayak hasn’t disappeared. They’ve relocated to the space underneath Vitamin Cottage (let out a sigh here).
Learn more about Salvagetti…
Once a resident of the Golden Triangle, Salvagetti will move from its Speer Blvd location to 1611 Platte Street on August 15th with a Platte Street Grand Opening on August 17th.
Salvagetti seriously offers it all. They sell bikes and clothing, service your bike, and conduct workshops to make you bike savvy. It’s all about baby steps in the workshops, starting with bike safety and progressing to the rules of the road, braking and shifting, general maintenance, and how to become a bike commuter.
Once they’re settled into their new home, Salvagetti will also organize Sunday brunch rides, bike-in movies and moonlight picnic rides. This shop’s mission is to find the right bike for your lifestyle and teach you how to love cycling.
We’re excited to have Salvagetti as our new neighbor.
