Tough Competition

The second annual RAC Olympics is 20 days away. That may seem like a lot of time, but consider the following; selecting your team, training, finding the perfect costume (optional), and reserving the patio at McLoughlin’s after your all-too-obvious win.
The details…
The event is on Saturday, August 29th at 10AM on the lawn directly behind Riverfront Tower. Entry is $200 per team. Teams consist of six people. Activities include tug-o-war, monster trike relay, volleyball, an inflatable obstacle course, baggo also known as corn hole in the Midwest, a cardio obstacle course, cage ball and a water balloon toss.

Test the market. Check out the competition to see what you are up against. What are their ads, websites and brochures like? If you are heading for a popular niche, it doesn’t necessarily mean you should not go ahead with your launch. It just means you need to fine tune it a bit more. Be careful if you don’t actually find any competition - tough or otherwise. It may just mean there is a high failure rate for your particular niche. Testing will enable you to try and work out why.
