Amy Cara
Chief Financial Officer
Amy Cara joined the Riverfront Park team when the inspiration for this great new urban community was born in 1999. She is responsible for the financial aspects of the development, including over $300 million in construction financing, land transactions, and other legal considerations. She also oversees the financial various operating entities, such as retail, brokerage, a few not-for-profits, and is involved in developing new buildings from start to finish.
Amy is a Riverfront Park resident, and understands personally the factors that make development in this unique urban oasis successful. She serves as President of the Central Platte Valley Metropolitan District and of the Riverfront Park Association, the master association of the neighborhood. She is also a board member of the Riverfront Park Community Foundation, Chair of PlatteForum and a board member of the Railyard Dogs, all of which are not-for-profits in the Riverfront community, and formerly served as the Membership and Finance Chair for the Design Council at the Denver Art Museum. She is also a graduate of the Colorado Business Committee for the Arts’ Leadership Denver Program. In 2003, Amy was selected as one of Denver’s “40 Under 40” by Denver Business Journal.
Before joining East West Partners, Amy was an Audit Manager for Arthur Andersen LLP in Denver, where she worked with a variety of clients to help identify business improvement opportunities, improve profitability, and obtain equity financing in addition to performing annual financial audits. Amy obtained a bachelor of science in both Accounting and Finance at the University of Colorado at Boulder.
