If you’re already a Riverfront resident, the answer won’t surprise you: Mark Muro , director of policy at the Brookings Institution’s Metropolitan Policy Program, said Denver’s growth is in the forefront of a return to urban centers in the U.S. “I think one of the major themes from the post-housing- crash has been a retrenchment of population into urban cities,” Muro said.
