Have you heard of Built Green? If not. If so. Here’s more information about the program I introduced in my last blog. Read on… Built Green Colorado is a green building set of guidelines and standards which was introduced in 1995 and created through joint efforts of the HBA of Metro Denver, The governor’s office of Energy Management and Conservation, Xcel Energy and E-Star Colorado. Focusing on new home construction, this voluntary program is the largest of its kind in the country. More than 200 builder members adhere to the standards. These members choose to follow a comprehensive checklist that outlines the Built Green Standards to be implemented into the construction process. http://blog.riverfrontpark.com/index.php/685/
